Comments On Banquet 07.

Some comments received re.Banquet.

St Paul's GAC Treasurer Billy McLarnon gives the opinion of his club's
members, 16-20 of whom attend each year:

Just wanted to say that I feel that the Annual Awards Dinner should remain in Bundoran. It adds to the weekend and the enjoyment to get away from it all at this beautiful seaside spot. I know that in particular the wives enjoy the shopping in Sligo and I can certainly say that the golf is an added bonus

Former Donegal GAA County Board PRO, and now Press Officer for Mary Coughlan TD, enthuses about the occasion::

Really enjoyed the banquet as always, it's at the top when it comes to enjoyable GAA nights.

Margaret McConville (Crossmaglen) wrote:
"Thank you all for the Chairman's Award in Bundoran. I was highly honoured and I met so many old friends and had a truly wonderful night. I would like to wish everyone in the GAA Writers' Association a very happy Christmas and good health and happiness in the New Year. God Bless you all."

An e-mail from Séamus Mac Giolla Fhinnéin (Camogie) said:
On behalf of myself and my wife, thank you very much for the invitation to the Writers' function in Bundoran. We really enjoyed the night. I think that you got the camogie Nominations (and Award) spot on!

Dozens of people both on the night and the following were full of praise for
the excellent meal and the efficiency with which it was served by the staff
at the Great Northern Hotel.
